10 Outrageous Beauty Treatments Hollywood Is Hooked On
Famous public figures have access to all cutting-edge beauty treatments the rest of the world can only dream of. As ELLE magazine notes, it’s usually celebrities who are the first to test the latest breakthroughs in cosmetic technologies. However, sometimes their beauty secrets may look quite weird to ordinary people as they include strange ingredients or unusual techniques.
Bright Side gathered the most bizarre trends that Hollywood celebrities are really hooked on.
10. A gold facial
Israeli model Bar Refaeli indulges in a 24-carat liquid gold facial to keep her skin glowing and healthy. This luxurious metal treatment is known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-acne, and anti-aging benefits.
9. False teeth
The Hollywood smile has become a standard requirement for almost every famous public figure, and veneers are one of the ways to achieve it. These thin shells of porcelain that are attached to the front of each tooth are usually used to change the size, shape, color, or position of the teeth.
Sivan Finkel, a dentist from New York, says that the first thing that happens when someone starts their career is their agent tells them, “You’ve gotta get veneers now.”
Dental implants are a more radical way to improve your smile. They represent tooth roots made of zirconium or titanium that are placed in the jawbone. Unlike veneers, in this case, you must get rid of all your natural teeth and live with a complete set of artificial ones for the rest of your life.
